You’ve probably been inundated with catastrophe quotes, and here’s another one Andy Grove, the former CEO at Intel. “Bad companies are destroyed by crisis, Good companies survive them, Great companies are improved by them”.
Great companies thrive because they have the X-factor. They have tremendous momentum and energy behind them. They do things better, with less effort and with fewer staff issues.
They are businesses with soul.
Most companies don’t realise soul is something you can discover and define using two of the foundations of my coaching: a company’s Core Values and Core Focus.
Most of us have nailed our Core Values. Core Focus is the passion or purpose that gets us out of bed in the morning, plus our niche (the one thing we are ‘rock star’ good at).
Now, simply align all your people with the above, and you’ll have a company with soul. Tada!
Ok, so it’s not that easy, but I urge you to begin a process that could move your company from surviving to thriving.
