If you think of your business like a Formula One car and you as the driver, I bet you race around on instinct most of the time.

You know the track, and you know the car better than anyone else, which for the most part, leads to podiums and champagne.

Except when things aren’t going well, and the car overheats. Or (like now) the track gets hit by a whirlwind and a tsunami at the same time.

That’s when you need a decent pit crew behind you because they provide the numbers that tell you where you need to adjust your race strategy.

The same is true of any business. As part of my coaching, I set all my clients up with a tool called a ‘Scorecard’ that captures the handful of measurables that the leadership team need to know each week.

Looking at this high-quality data helps with the entire decision-making process around the business. Without it, you’re careening around with your fingers crossed guessing when it would be a good time to come in for a pit stop.

Could you use some help with the numbers behind your business? Send me an email at letstalk@pinnacletraction.com.au and I’d be happy to share some of my pit crew experience in a discovery call.
