That’s the feeling amongst my clients as they limp battered and bruised towards the end of a challenging* year. One giant’ clarity break’ is what I’m recommending as business owners take a deep, calming breath and ask ‘What next?’
Typically, a clarity break is a couple of hours at most where you take time out of the weekly chaos to work on the business. No computers, tablets or phones, just a pen, pad and your brain.
However, it feels like a couple of hours is not nearly enough to move on from 2020, so aim for more of a ‘clarity vacation’. Give yourself as much time as you can afford to focus on what’s important in your business and allow game-changing ideas to pop up.
2020 might be a write-off, but once you’re done assessing the damage, it’s time to start planning for a bright and prosperous 2021.
Do you take clarity breaks in your business? Do they work for you? Let me know in the comments below.
