When we’re stuck in the day-to-day problems and frustrations, it can be easy to forget the passion that led us to start a business in the first place. The journey from launching to scaling is the start of a love affair that’s destined for many ups and downs. Sometimes the downs far outweigh the ups but, like a marriage heading for the rocks, there is help out there.
As a business coach, people often use my discovery session as a form of counselling. It offers them a rare chance to vent about their business problems, and it all comes tumbling out. I see their demeanour change as the pressure is lessened, and they start getting a little bit of clarity. After that, putting together a strategy to feel the love again and grow the business is much easier.
So, here’s a date for your diary: Sunday 14 February 2021 (aka Valentine’s Day). I urge you to contact your business coach/advisor/counsellor before Christmas and set up a session around Valentine’s Day to make 2021 the year you reignited the passion for your business.
