We don’t like to get things messy
Some of us stay away from changes
And most of us are terrified by failure
It’s absolutely normal to feel this way! After all we are on the same boat of getting through the waves that life throws into us. In spite of that, call to mind that no business had become successful without experiencing raindrops.
The bigger question is, “How big can a raindrop be?”.
According to a study, if one droplet hit into another droplet, the bigger droplet will consume the smaller droplet. This new bigger droplet will again collide into other smaller droplets and become even bigger. They call this process “coalescence”. In a period of time, the droplet will become so heavy that the cloud can no longer hold it up and it will start falling which will eventually result– rain.
I think this process is identical to a business who allowed itself not to take steps in controlling the issues while it is still easy to handle. Let us assume that the business is the “cloud” holding up the droplets. If the organization allowed one problem hit other problems, it will keep on getting bigger and in due course upshot issues until the business can no longer hold it up and it will start falling.
However, a good leader will see these challenges as an opportunity to make great changes that will put the organization back into the right track again. This is where IDS strategy will take in action. “What does IDS stand for?” IDS stands for I– (Identify), D– (Discuss) and S– (Solve). An organization who is well organized and regulated, will surely sense how to track issues and is aware on how to carry well its own “cloud”. We can further discuss this scheme and let these droplets, whether small or big, have the right solution!
