As we move back into more ‘real life’ meetings and networking events, it feels like we have to re-learn how to communicate what our organisations deliver when faced with a room full of people.
The trouble is, most people wing it when asked what they do for a living. In an ideal world, you should be able to sum up your purpose, highlight some pain points, a few benefits and even slip in a story — all of that in around 30 seconds and not sounding like you’re reading a script.
Luckily, there is a framework. With my clients, that process begins with working on their vision, starting with their core values, and core focus. We build out from there until we have some messaging that informs and inspires and takes a pitch from a real bore to wanting to know more.
Do people light up or glaze over when you deliver your pitch? We will run through the basics of building your company’s vision in one of my free two-hour Boardroom Insights sessions. Please click on the link in the comments to book in.
